Common questions
My receptionist isn't answering calls.▾
Check that your business is active in the dashboard and that your Kordial phone number is correct. If you’re using call forwarding, make sure your carrier is forwarding to the right number. Still stuck? Email support@kordial.ai with your business slug and we’ll investigate.
The receptionist is giving callers wrong information.▾
This usually means your business data is out of date. Open your dashboard, go to Settings, and click "Resync business data." This re-scrapes your website and refreshes your Google info. If the wrong info is in the scrape, you may need to update your website or Google Business Profile first.
I'm not seeing leads from calls.▾
Leads are captured when a caller provides their name or phone number during the conversation. If the caller hung up early or didn't share contact details, no lead is logged. Check the Calls tab for the full transcript to see what happened.
How do I change my receptionist's voice or language?▾
Go to Settings in your dashboard. You can pick a different voice from the voice library and set the default language. Changes apply to new calls immediately.
Can I use my existing business phone number?▾
Yes, on Pro and above plans. You can either forward your existing number to your Kordial number, or bring your own number (BYON) on supported carriers. See the Settings tab for BYON setup instructions.
How do I cancel my subscription?▾
Go to Settings > Billing and click "Cancel subscription." Your plan stays active through the end of your billing period. Your data and phone number stay available for 30 days after cancellation if you change your mind.
Can I export my call transcripts and leads?▾
Yes. Go to Leads or Calls in your dashboard and use the Export button to download a CSV. You can export everything at any time.
Does Kordial work for businesses outside the US?▾
We currently support phone numbers in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. EU numbers (Germany, France, Italy, Spain) require a regulatory bundle and are available on request. Email us with your country and we'll let you know what's possible.
